At Parkersburg Catholic we believe that a Catholic education forms the foundation for a life of service for the greater good. We strive to instill in students the skills and character traits necessary to make a difference in the world around them. As we are reminded in 1 Peter 4:10 “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.”

Over the past 65 years our commitment to excellence has produced some of our areas top community and business leaders and has sent scores of individuals out into God’s world to make a difference.

While our traditions are strong and our track record of success in producing engaged learners, who are prepared for college and a life of service, we must continue to evolve in both our practices and our infrastructure to meet the changing needs of our students. Equipping our students with the tools necessary to excel is paramount to our continued success. Through your generosity and that of your classmates, parents, grandparents and friends many of these tools for excellence exist currently within our schools and we thank you for making that a reality. The key function of the advancement office is to advance the mission of the school. The office is tasked with being forward thinking, while seeing what is coming and securing the funds necessary to ensure that our community can take advantage of the best educational and support platforms for our students. We work with the various parent volunteer committees, PCAA, and Principals to build a program wide commitment to excellence.

There are many opportunities for you to become involved in our advancement efforts from being a donor, to presenting us with ideas, to championing a cause that is near and dear to your heart, to just sharing your story. Each of us have gifts of talents and treasures and our community will be made brighter as we share in what God has blessed us with. I welcome you to engage with our staff and bring to our advancement effort your stories and history of Parkersburg Catholic Schools.

We are currently in the process of updating our contact management software and adding a new online campaign platform. We believe that these changes will expand our reach to those connected with the Parkersburg Catholic family across the country. One of this year’s primary goals will be to reconnect with alumni so if you are a graduate, round up your classmates and send them this link to give us updated contact information so they can remain connected to all that is Parkersburg Catholic.
